Elad Simon
Executive Director

Elad has a rich background and understanding of sports, having served as the Deputy Director of the Israel Volleyball Association. He is also the Sports Director of the 21st Maccabiah Games.

"Having grown up in the world of sports, I truly value sports as the most effective tool for social education. It is only natural for me to be part of an organization which strives to connect the different 'tribes' of Israeli society. Sport has the power to do just that – to help us put our preconceived notions aside and bridge seemingly incompatible differences by creating a shared language.  It is an honor for me to join the BFP family and I look forward to helping to create a meaningful impact through sport."

Elad holds a degree in Physical Education with a specialization in Sports Management from the Zinman College at the Wingate Institute and is completing his M.A. in Behavioral Sciences. He has previously led the educational staff at Wingate's ‘Academy for Sport Excellence’.

Elad lives in Zichron Yaakov with his wife Renana, his daughters Hili and Romi and their dog, Limka.
